Musing: Karla Spetic

In designer, Fashion, Good Look on January 23, 2011 at 7:20 pm

I’m a fan of prints. So it’s a treat to come across designers who can tranfer the complex concept onto delicate fabrics such as silk. Much like Danish-born, Australian-based fashion designer Karla Spetic; her spring/summer 2011 collection is a compendium of wasteland prints on skirts, tees and blouses that resemble art more than anything else. It’s romantic and feminine. Sometimes, you don’t really need a grande presentation to get the point. She’s proven that minimialism speaks volumes.

This collection is available for purchase via her website, in case you’re interseted.
